Creative Direction
Some projects require creative and from the hundreds of projects where various issues have been solved, I can draw upon this experience with an approach that will suit the overall creative aims and fit within a specified budget.
Direction
From live action shoots with children, adults and animals through to projects with 3D animation and complex visual effects I have the background and skills to guide a team or to complete the requirements myself.
Post Production
My entire life’s work has been in post production apart from the paper run I did as a teenager. I’ve worked alongside some of the industry greats and learned much from them across the years.
Editing
One of the most rewarding aspects of any project is to edit the images captured at a shoot and see the sequence flow as has been envisaged. Using Adobe Premiere Pro software this process is simple and can utilise the raw camera footage.
Grading
Every project needs a little bit of love in the colouring of the final result. There’s nothing like healthy skin tones and food looking delicious. The grading process is essential in making images look their best. The entire process has of course evolved dramatically from the days of 35mm film and now with digital cameras it’s a creative process more so than ever.
3D Animation
From modelling, texturing, rigging, animating and lighting I’m completely across the process. It’s been the majority of what I’ve done professionally. I’ve worked within teams, run teams and been a one man team.
Compositing
Multi-layered shots with elements from various sources are the usual scenario. Chroma Key and complex tracking tasks are par for the course.
